Full Job Description

A prominent political organization is looking for experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will lead in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to elect conservative candidates across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. Roles/Duties:

• Go door-to-door to mobilize voters and persuade swing voters to support the campaign.
• Coordinate and lead campaign events, rallies, and canvassing activities.
• Create and apply strategies for targeted voter outreach.
• Work with volunteers and other campaign staff to achieve campaign goals.
• Utilize social networks to increase awareness and engagement with the campaign.
• Analyze polls and data to make informed decisions about campaign strategies.
• Customize campaign messaging for targeted audiences by filtering information.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management for campaign efforts.
• Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure.
• Build up a strong volunteer base and understanding of the area for Get Out the Vote (GOTV).
• Develop and maintain a strong and trusting relationship with the county officials, candidates, volunteers, and partner organizations.
• Report voter engagement and volunteer recruitment statistics to the Vice Chair regularly.
• Partner with communications, data, and other department heads to fulfill county-wide organizational goals.
• Schedule and recruit volunteers for regular events.
• Collaborate with candidates, staff, and local parties for a unified campaign effort.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in political campaigns or community organizing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Able to work both independently and in team settings.
• Passionate about increasing election turnout and making a difference in their community.
• Experience in organizing (whether paid, as a volunteer, or through internships) is preferred.
• Full availability for the last two months before the Election is required.
• Requires strong training abilities.
• Ability to work long and unusual hours (weekends and some nights, especially leading up to the election) is a must.
• Must be detail-oriented and thrive in a high-speed setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
• Access to a reliable vehicle. Travel is required.
