Full Job Description

A prominent political organization is in search of experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will lead in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to increase turnout across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. This is an opportunity to maximize voter turnout while being directly mentored and supervised by seasoned political operatives. The ideal candidate brings a passion for the conservative cause and strong organizing and leadership abilities. Roles/Duties:

• Organize door-to-door efforts to engage and persuade voters.
• Coordinate and lead campaign events, rallies, and canvassing activities.
• Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to reach specific groups of voters.
• Collaborate with volunteers and staff to meet campaign objectives.
• Use social platforms to enhance campaign visibility and engagement.
• Use data and poll analysis to guide campaign strategy decisions.
• Tailor campaign messages to specific audiences through selective information.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management for campaign efforts.
• Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure.
• Build up a strong volunteer base and understanding of the area for Get Out the Vote (GOTV).
• Foster strong, trust-based relationships with local officials, candidates, and volunteer groups.
• Report voter engagement and volunteer recruitment statistics to the Vice Chair regularly.
• Collaborate with key staff and leaders to achieve organizational objectives throughout the county.
• Schedule and recruit volunteers for regular events.
• Work with other candidates, campaign staff, county parties, and organizations to implement a successful Coordinated Campaign.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience working on political campaigns or in community organizing is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Driven to boost election turnout and impact the community positively.
• Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship).
• Must be fully available in the final two months leading up to the Election.
• Must be a strong trainer.
• Willingness to work extended and irregular hours, including weekends and nights, is crucial.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
• Access to a reliable vehicle. Travel is required.
