Full Job Description

A prominent political organization is looking for experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to elect conservative candidates across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. Roles/Duties:

• Go door-to-door to mobilize voters and persuade swing voters to support the campaign.
• Coordinate and lead campaign events, rallies, and canvassing activities.
• Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to reach specific groups of voters.
• Join forces with campaign volunteers and staff to accomplish goals.
• Utilize social networks to increase awareness and engagement with the campaign.
• Use data and poll analysis to guide campaign strategy decisions.
• Tailor campaign messages to specific audiences through selective information.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for phone banking, voter registration, and canvassing events.
• Achieve targeted goals regularly and excel under pressure.
• Develop a robust volunteer network and local knowledge for effective GOTV efforts.
• Build and sustain trustworthy relationships with county leaders, candidates, and allied organizations.
• Report voter engagement and volunteer recruitment statistics to the Vice Chair regularly.
• Partner with communications, data, and other department heads to fulfill county-wide organizational goals.
• Schedule and recruit volunteers for regular events.
• Collaborate with candidates, staff, and local parties for a unified campaign effort.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in political campaigns or community organizing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.
• Able to work both independently and in team settings.
• Driven to boost election turnout and impact the community positively.
• Experience in organizing (whether paid, as a volunteer, or through internships) is preferred.
• Full availability for the last two months before the Election is required.
• Requires strong training abilities.
• Ability to work long and unusual hours (weekends and some nights, especially leading up to the election) is a must.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for necessary travel.
