Full Job Description

A leading political organization seeks experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to elect conservative candidates across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. This is an opportunity to maximize voter turnout while being directly mentored and supervised by seasoned political operatives. Roles/Duties:

• Go door-to-door to mobilize voters and persuade swing voters to support the campaign.
• Organize and execute campaign rallies, canvasses, and door-to-door canvassing efforts.
• Create and apply strategies for targeted voter outreach.
• Work with volunteers and other campaign staff to achieve campaign goals.
• Use social platforms to enhance campaign visibility and engagement.
• Use data and poll analysis to guide campaign strategy decisions.
• Discriminate information to ensure campaign messaging is tailored to specific audiences.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management for campaign efforts.
• Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure.
• Cultivate a solid volunteer team and area insight for GOTV campaigns.
• Build and sustain trustworthy relationships with county leaders, candidates, and allied organizations.
• Provide daily/weekly reports of voter contact and volunteer recruitment data to the Vice Chair.
• Partner with communications, data, and other department heads to fulfill county-wide organizational goals.
• Organize and gather volunteers for weekly events.
• Join forces with various political entities to execute a cohesive campaign strategy.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in political campaigns or community organizing is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.
• Able to work both independently and in team settings.
• Driven to boost election turnout and impact the community positively.
• Experience in organizing (whether paid, as a volunteer, or through internships) is preferred.
• Must be fully available in the final two months leading up to the Election.
• Requires strong training abilities.
• Ability to work long and unusual hours (weekends and some nights, especially leading up to the election) is a must.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for necessary travel.
