A prominent political organization seeks experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to boost voter participation across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. Roles/Duties:

  • Visit homes to mobilize and convince swing voters to back the campaign.
  • Execute and manage campaign rallies and canvassing operations.
  • Implement outreach plans to engage specific voter demographics.
  • Work with volunteers and other campaign staff to achieve campaign goals.
  • Utilize social networks to increase awareness and engagement with the campaign.
  • Evaluate polls and data for strategic campaign planning.
  • Customize campaign messaging for targeted audiences by filtering information.
  • Organize and oversee volunteers for various campaign activities including phone banking and voter registration.
  • Must be able to hit metric goals on a weekly and quarterly basis and work well under pressure.
  • Cultivate a solid volunteer team and area insight for GOTV campaigns.
  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with local officials, candidates, and volunteer groups.
  • Submit regular reports on voter outreach and volunteer recruitment to the Vice Chair.
  • Collaborate with key staff and leaders to achieve organizational objectives throughout the county.
  • Organize and gather volunteers for weekly events.

Job Requirements:
