Full Job Description

A major political organization is looking for experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to elect conservative candidates across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. Roles/Duties:

  • Organize door-to-door efforts to engage and persuade voters.
  • Organize and execute campaign rallies, canvasses, and door-to-door canvassing efforts.
  • Implement outreach plans to engage specific voter demographics.
  • Work with volunteers and other campaign staff to achieve campaign goals.
  • Utilize social networks to increase awareness and engagement with the campaign.
  • Use data and poll analysis to guide campaign strategy decisions.
  • Tailor campaign messages to specific audiences through selective information.
  • Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management for campaign efforts.
  • Achieve targeted goals regularly and excel under pressure.
  • Cultivate a solid volunteer team and area insight for GOTV campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a strong and trusting relationship with the county officials, candidates, volunteers, and partner organizations.
  • Provide daily/weekly reports of voter contact and volunteer recruitment data to the Vice Chair.
  • Partner with communications, data, and other department heads to fulfill county-wide organizational goals.
  • Schedule and recruit volunteers for regular events.
  • Work with other candidates, campaign staff, county parties, and organizations to implement a successful Coordinated Campaign.
