Full Job Description

A prominent political organization is looking for experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to elect conservative candidates across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. Roles/Duties:

  • Go door-to-door to mobilize voters and persuade swing voters to support the campaign.
  • Execute and manage campaign rallies and canvassing operations.

  • Join forces with campaign volunteers and staff to accomplish goals.
  • Leverage social media to boost campaign awareness and participation.
  • Analyze polls and data to make informed decisions about campaign strategies.
  • Customize campaign messaging for targeted audiences by filtering information.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for phone banking, voter registration, and canvassing events.
  • Meet or exceed set performance metrics consistently while managing stress effectively.
  • Develop a robust volunteer network and local knowledge for effective GOTV efforts.
  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with local officials, candidates, and volunteer groups.
  • Report voter engagement and volunteer recruitment statistics to the Vice Chair regularly.
  • Collaborate with key staff and leaders to achieve organizational objectives throughout the county.
  • Plan and recruit for weekly volunteer events.
  • Collaborate with candidates, staff, and local parties for a unified campaign effort.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in political campaigns or community organizing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Able to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Passionate about increasing election turnout and making a difference in their community.
  • Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship).
  • Must be fully available in the final two months leading up to the Election.
  • Must be a strong trainer.
