Full Job Description

A prominent political organization is looking for experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will lead in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to increase turnout across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. Roles/Duties:

  • Collaborate with volunteers and staff to meet campaign objectives.
  • Use social platforms to enhance campaign visibility and engagement.

  • Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management for campaign efforts.

  • Build and sustain trustworthy relationships with county leaders, candidates, and allied organizations.

  • Organize and gather volunteers for weekly events.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience working on political campaigns or in community organizing is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Able to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Passionate about increasing election turnout and making a difference in their community.
  • Experience in organizing (whether paid, as a volunteer, or through internships) is preferred.
  • Full availability for the last two months before the Election is required.
  • Requires strong training abilities.
