Full Job Description

A leading political organization is looking for experienced Political Canvasser to join their team on a year-round basis. In this critical role, you will take the lead in planning, coordinating, and executing voter outreach and engagement efforts to elect conservative candidates across the United States. Your responsibilities will include organizing canvasses, phone banks, and high-impact campaign events, as well as going door-to-door in targeted precincts. A key focus will be persuading swing voters and mobilizing the base to build grassroots momentum leading up to the 2024 election cycle. Roles/Duties:

• Go door-to-door to mobilize voters and persuade swing voters to support the campaign.
• Coordinate and lead campaign events, rallies, and canvassing activities.
• Create and apply strategies for targeted voter outreach.
• Join forces with campaign volunteers and staff to accomplish goals.
• Use social platforms to enhance campaign visibility and engagement.
• Use data and poll analysis to guide campaign strategy decisions.
• Discriminate information to ensure campaign messaging is tailored to specific audiences.
• Organize and oversee volunteers for various campaign activities including phone banking and voter registration.
• Meet or exceed set performance metrics consistently while managing stress effectively.
• Develop a robust volunteer network and local knowledge for effective GOTV efforts.
• Foster strong, trust-based relationships with local officials, candidates, and volunteer groups.
• Submit regular reports on voter outreach and volunteer recruitment to the Vice Chair.
• Partner with communications, data, and other department heads to fulfill county-wide organizational goals.
• Schedule and recruit volunteers for regular events.
• Join forces with various political entities to execute a cohesive campaign strategy.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience working on political campaigns or in community organizing is highly valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Able to work both independently and in team settings.

• Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship).
• Full availability for the last two months before the Election is required.
